QCP solves this by removing vital community spaces from the speculative market. We acquire physical real estate outright—beginning with our flagship warehouse at 910 Front St NE in Salem—placing property into permanent non-profit stewardship to guarantee long-term stability.

For decades, queer social life has been heavily centralized around commercial, alcohol-driven nightlife. The lack of well-funded, sober, all-ages, and daytime gathering hubs leaves large segments of our community isolated from essential social infrastructure.
True community health requires a holistic ecosystem. QCP creates accessible, non-commercial spaces across all hours of the day—combining vibrant evening venues with sober cultural hubs, coffeehouses, and open gathering spaces where remaining present is never contingent on spending money.

QCP bridges this gap through a self-sustaining workforce model (IRS Rev. Rul. 73-128). Food and beverage operations generate tax-exempt Program Service Revenue that directly sustains a guaranteed $35/hour base wage floor, 100% tip-free pay stability, healthcare benefits, and direct community reinvestment—including the Salem Queer Youth Scholarship Fund and trans legal advocacy.
